I have a question about pH of planted aquarium.

Before Co2 is on, pH level in my tank is 6.7 to 6.5.
After giving Co2, pH level is 5.8 to 5.5.

Is this level suitable for aquarium plants?
Should I raise the pH level in my tanks?
How to raise the pH level of the water?

Hello Oliver,

raising the pH of the water can be simple and last for a long while by adding sodium bicarbonate (also known as baking soda or NaHCO3). This can be obtained with relative ease and is inexpensive. You can use the https://rotalabutterfly.com/nutrient-calculator.php calculator to figure out how much you need to increase your aquarium's water to say 1-2 dKH. This will be enough to increase your pH a little.

However, as to the question if you should increase your pH... for aquarium plants no. Many people and myself have grown even hard water plants at such a pH. Crustaceans may be more affected by such a low pH.
