Yes, let's think, why on earth would I do such a thing? Because I am just an evil (or perhaps mentally ill) person who spends her leisure time looking for kind, hardworking aquarists to pick on?
Or is it, as in most cases, the simplest reason possible?
It is,
of course, because your e-mail with the attached eBook did not appear in my e-mail box until 6:30 a.m. THIS MORNING--3 calendar days after I spent a full hour between your site and PayPal trying to purchase it. It appears that your e-mail service also has quite a bit of a delivery delay. As I am not the only person who has had difficulty purchasing your book, perhaps a fair warning to customers on your web site is in order--if not a complete revamping of your site?
You have 2 ways to look at this situation--as an opportunity to complain about your customers and their understandable frustration, or an opportunity to improve your service.
Thank you for responding to my public post this morning. If you had responded sooner, or responded to me personally, I wouldn't have felt the need to come here.
p.s. The book is great!
p.p.s. Lest anyone think Greg's reference to my "strong language" means that I cursed him, I will reprint my full e-mail to him here:
Subject: You now owe me a download + $4.95 (or no download and $9.90)
I changed my PayPal payment to a credit card and got the following message:
