Adding Peat to an existing substrate

Would there be any issues adding peatsicles to the substrate similar to the way people make osmomudsicles?

if its fine, how much peat per sq inch would be recommended

my current substrate in all my tanks is black flourite capped with tahitian moon sand

Wink Sort of Sub Rosa Peat Moss

    Hi Rob,

If you were “Sub” instead of Rob, there would be no problem at all…

I had never given it any thought, I cannot think of any reason it shouldn’t work, assuming you didn’t add too much ice at a time.

I do not think you really need to add more than what would amount to a dusting.

Tell us how it worked out.
