Thread: CSM+B, how much?

So to prevent mold I could simply add flourish excel to my 500ml solution? How much of it? 5ml? 10ml? Thank you.

    Element ppm/degrees
    B 0.12

If you are doing EI Method the EI target ranges are:

    CO2 range 25-35 ppm
    NO3 range 10-30 ppm
    K+ range 10-30 ppm
    PO4 range 1.0-2.0 ppm
    Fe .2-0.5ppm or higher
GH range 1-2 degrees "extra" 17-40 ppm or higher
I'll be dosing 3x 15ml to be on the safe side.

    GillesF,

How many gallons is your tank? Did you click on the link with Wet's calculator? That should help you on making a solution for both macro and micro nutrients. Keep in mind that we are dosing EI method...we want to supply our plants with an unlimited amount of nutrients as long as we do weekly water changes.

    It's a 24 gallon tank, this gives:

Your addition of 100.0 g Plantex CSM+B to your 1000.0 mL container, with doses of 10.0 mL to your 90.0 L aquarium adds
    Element ppm/degree
    B 0.13
    Cu 0.01
    Fe 0.73
    Mg 0.16
    Mn 0.21
    Mo 0.01
    Zn 0.04
    dGH 0.04
3x 10ml/week should be more than enough, even quite rich.

Is .7ppm of Fe too high or does it depend on how planted a tank is? What's the ideal range for a heavily planted tank?

Pretty rich compared to everyone else.
