KH2PO4 Solution

Hi,

I made KH2PO4 solution from dry PO4 from Aquariumfertilizer and I have a Q: each ml of this solution gives me 0.53ppm for 10 gallons of water. Now, how much do I need to dose (3 times per week) my 55g to get a consistent 2ppm of PO4 in my tank? Thank you.

My calculations are 20ml 3 times a week but, I am not sure if this is correct.

Whoa... dejavue. Check your APC thread for an answer.

In the future, it may be helpful for you to know that KH2PO4 gets along just fine with KNO3 and K2SO4. Mixing your NPK all in one bottle is a nice way to go.

Philosophos uis right. Do mix all your NPK in one bottle as it will mix very well that way. Secondly KNO3 and K2SO4 do get along very well with KH2PO4.
