I use it to seal up threads in automotive applications, too. Had it in the tool chest...lol
Today is a good day in that the Giants won and...
All my post body components are here. I am just waiting on my Smith stainless CGA 320 nipple (they sent out the nitrous oxide component by mistake).
Here are some pics:
Only one question remains: Do you all want me to do a DIY for 90* post body regulators or just show you the end result?
Here is the way the regulator looked when I got it in the mail:
I've already added the swagelok 2" 1/4 nipple and removed the post body.
Would you want to show the whole build?
Are you going to straight out your gauge?
The gauge is on loose till I get everything built and straight. I had to remove the low pressure gauge in order to take the OEM post body off. I also had to remove the layers of teflon tape on the threads of the gauge. Right now it's on sideways just to prevent dust from getting inside the regulator. It will be straight as soon as I build the thing.
I'm just waiting on my stainless CGA 320 nipple, whcih should be here in the next day or so.
The CGA side will be installed with the filter first. It's just easier to manipulate the CGA side w/o the whole post body attached...lol
