Which clippard solenoid should I purchase in order for me to add my own power cord? The ones listed on aquarium sites sell them for almost $30 bucks. Left C also posted one that I can find under $20 bucks. Where can I find that as well?

Solenoid (You will need to purchase a grounded power cord separately)

If you do not want to wire your Solenoid, you can order the above solenoid and then order either the 6’ or 15’ DIN connector with a grounded power cord and LED so you can replace the stock DIN connector and LED.

I picked up a new Swagelok SS-2MG-MH-SS11 needle valve (1/8") on eBay over the weekend for $52 shipped. I"m not sure that's a good price but I wanted to go with a swag this time around (I have an Ideal on my other tank).

Is is possible to connect directly to CO2 tubing from a Swagelok tubing connector? Instead of adapting to 1/8 npt and then using a 1/8 npt hose barb fitting?

It is as long as you are using 1/8" OD tubing for the 1/8" fittings. (same fitting size to same OD)

You caught the glitch. Those fittings are for 1/8" OD.

There are different ID's used. 1/8" is very common.
