Hi!

I just recently came upon a lifegaurd mechanical and fludized bed filter on a good sale and I decided to purchase them.

I've trying to figure out things I can do with them in a planted tank. The Sand filter seems like a great way to dissolve CO2.. has anyone used this before? Or will it break the FBF?

Is the lifegaurd mechanical filter any use if I already have a canister filter?

Sorry to ask these questions here - but there is seemingly very little information of this system.
