Hi all,

I thought Id do a thread for the sole purpose of the website as it develops, and who knows, maybe even after if its been up for a while.

Please use this thread to discuss ideas, report bugs and well, anything else to do with the website really.

First news is that UK Aquatic Plant Society Main Website is already live and pointing to my server, and right now is directing back to here. We'll keep it this way while were deciding and building the website until we get to a launchable level.

Just so that you dont all think there's something wrong with ukaps.co .uk , i've updated the dns and removed the forwarding to this forum. This should take 24 - 48 hours till it's working again.

Index of / is broken.

I can see the whole directory structure. Someone has forgotten to tell the server that index.htm is the default page. ;-))

I was doing server maintenance. Its fine now. This is going to happen on and off for a while, i need to sort out some machines here and itll go on one of those, so bear with me please.

The website will be down for Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday as Im moving it to its own dedicated server due to some access issues. Ill probably be done Tuesday depending on what life throws at me in the meantime.

okies, server up and running with no real headache at all, wonders will never cease.

so, redirects and wotnots work now for both .co.uk and .org. Now we can see what were doing, well get to work on it Thanks for all your patience.

Ok the site is now live.. quite bare, but live.

Thanks to Dan Crawford for the graphics

The site is now externally hosted as it was just becoming too involved for me to maintain the server myself. So all good and done really.

Well be adding to the site as time goes on, and I have a list of a few bugs that need sorting out, but nothing that stops it running ok.
