    Man your water is SOFT!!! I would try to increase the gH/kH a few degrees. Both of them around 5 would be good.

    I'll be doing EI Ferts plus a 50% WC weekly.

    Thanks for all of the info there everyone.. feeling more confident now.

    I know, very soft! If I had Discus I would be able to do a straight WC, no problems. For entertainment's sake here are all the parameters of my local water:

    pH 6.8
    GH 15-44 ppm
    KH: <1KH
    Iron 0.04 ppm
    Nitrate (N) 0.16-0.50 ppm
    Phosphorus 0.006 ppm
    Potassium (K) 0.7-2.2 ppm
