Does that work with a SS-2-ME on the top of the solenoid? (trading it for the street elbow and the 1/8 nipple)

yes, it does work, but the "arm" is really short, so on small regulator looks good but not on a regular size system.

Tom, chance of getting another identical unit, is weak, I believe this regulator is the only one that I've known in the hands of aquarists, actually you are the sole owner.
Maknwar was lucky to hunt down a couple of these last year, but they are the chrome plated brass units, not stainless steel, then later he got a real stainless steel unit, but turned out it was a defective unit, so the only true stainless steel matheson miniature regulator in service, is the one you have.
If you want something small and unique, there is another miniature regulator, it is the Victor HPT100 double stage. I believe this regulator is a truly unique unit because it is rare, never been mentioned or any known owner.
I just test it, the regulator is a functional unit, need to find a good combo for its postbody.
