Using 120mm fan to produce surface agitation

Hey guys,

I just saw a video of a tank that used a 120mm fan (those for the PC) for surface agitation. How do you guys feel about this? To me, sure beats using a powerhead of some kind in terms of footprint.

Cannot think of any reason really not to, as long as the surface does not break, it will also reduce temp good for warmer months, regions.

I would think that for surface agitation, just fine. For CO2 distribution, not so good.
