Thread: Uruguayensis sword not looking so good

  1. Uruguayensis sword not looking so good

We're newbies to aquariums and especially planted tanks. The tank is 30 gallons, with Activ Flora substrate, and one T8 25Watt 6700 K light source. The water has been in for one week, there are 3 neon tetras and 3 Guppies in the 82 degree water. The Echinodorus Uruguayensis is failing in health since we planted it one week ago. We have not fertilized and the light is usually on from 8 am to 10 pm. Water is pretty good; we had it tested and it came in at 7 ph with normal levels of everything else. Anyone have any suggestions........George (Vancouver Island)
