ATI vs LED Lighting upgrade advice

    Hey Guru's

    Just need some advice,

    I have 3 lighting options to choose for my 48" x 24" x 28deep"

I have co2,ferts blah blah blah

    I'm looking at a

6x 54w ATI sunpower dimmable with giesseman tubes

    2x 450mm 150w E-shine units 25x 3w cree 6500k, 25x 3w cree 12000k, i've been told maybe 80-120 par value in a 28"

    3 x 50w 6500k LED Floodlights

    Any help would be great

    Hi,

The 6x39w ATI dimmable would be a great option IMO. Provides a nice spread and the dimming allows for ez PAR management..

80-120 Micromoles is VERY high light, are you sure you want to go this high?

What are your goals for the tank.
    Thanks,

    Gerry.

Does a 48" long Ati fixture use 39w tubes?

I want room to increase if need due to tank depth and the ability to adjust the output by dimming and such. I wouldn't run it 100% if I don't need to.

It's to replace my current lighting which is great but with the increased plant mass I think is loosing some spread.

You can see a picture of the tank here

I like that Ati are proven to work and are still efficient in regards to light output compared to most LEDs

It's going over a 4ft aquarium so I'd guess I would need the 6x54w unit
