WTB: Rotala sp. Belem & trade rare plants

    hi,
I am searching for a Rotala Belem.
Would prefer trades or buy in European area, so that plants do not ship that loong.

I have also many rare plants ready to trade.
Here is my trade list: http://bravobaby.de/plants
(still the few plants marked as N/A arenīt availible)

    Hi Rasmus
I am currently only searching for the Belem.
Obvisously, I could send/sell you some plants - but I have no experience with shipping times to Denmark.
I guess a cheap standart airmail could take too long and plants could be DOA.

Perhaps, it will still make more sense by picking up any Express service. Certainly thatīs expensive and I have currently no own experience with international Express shipping. During the next days I will try to send some plants to Florin with DHL Express, after doing this I can tell you if such Express services work out smooth or not.
The Express services claim 1day deilver time, but they do not mention if it may take perhaps longer if shipped abroad.

    About the Rotala Colorata:
The plant will only get those colour under strong limitation. Otherwise it will mostly still look like all Rotundifolias.
I would suggest a Rotala Hīra, this plant can also be red, green, yellow or orange (also depending on ferts/light) - but the Hīra is imo better looking as Colorata/Rotundifolias.

    regards peter

  4. Hi Peter

I just got a packed from Germany 2 weeks ago. It was send with DPD and they did it for 9 euro. Somewhat expensive, but it worked out in about 48 hours.

Otherwise we coult try with a normal letter. I am not shur about the shipping time, but they tend to be quick.

I guess the time is only a real problem for Elatine triandra, the rest of the species will ship with no problems.

I would like to try both the Rotalas you talk about.

Maby you could mail me on: rasmus8200@gmail.com

    regards
    Rasmus

    hi,
I checked the DPD Website and 9euro is not possible:
    https://www.dpd.com/de/content/view/full/1176
Obvisiosuly yours package was send by a company and they get other rates. Private customers didnīt get such rates. The lowest DPD rates for Denmark are 12.50Euro and this is still for the economy parcel service. The service did not have any "2days Express deliver-guaranty".

And yes, Iīll mail you later and let us clear it through email.
    regards Peter

I know bubbles has them, I currently still donīt know their sale and shipping conditions from HK to EU - but i guess it could be rather expensive.
The Belem was also shown times ago from a few US members @ APC and Plantedtank.
So I thought, perhaps some ppl. here have the plant too?

There is also a Rotala Mexicana RED that looks somehow like the Belem:
    http://www.aquariumlife.com.au/showt...otala-mexicana
    (perhaps liverpoolcreek sold such plants?)

Anyone with such a Rotala Mexicana Red and is it the same like Rotala Belem?
