Do you clean the back glass of your aquarium?

Curious, do you clean the algae off all 4 glass walls or leave it on some

Well, with my 360 view, all 4

On tanks against the wall, yes again, but not that frequently. Depends on how much it bothers me I guess lol
    Thanks,

    Gerry.

Always. I hate seeing algae and stuff on the glass even in the back. Especially on saltwater tanks. Coralline algae looks nice but I don't want it on my glass or overflow box.

Smile Then Again, I Am Probably Nuts

    Hi Mark,

Depending on viewing angle, I leave algae, but then I like algae.

I love rocks and glass with a nice patina of algae, I believe the algae provide a buffer and by having good-looking algae I dissuade the ugly nasty stuff from setting up shop.

Also, it is better to leave some algae for algae eaters like Ottos, isn't it ?

My Ottos had a great time with zucchini, but now they have become more finicky, so I prefer not scrape too much the glasses.

    Best wishes,
