Thread: Pipewort lighting

  1. Pipewort lighting

Do plants like Tonina, Syngonanthus, or Erio sp absolutely NEED high lighting? I will be having a moderately low light set up but with good CO2 saturation. The only other plants will be moss and ferns, or other slow growing low light plants. I was hoping I could add pipeworts to the mix.

I will have soft/slightly acidic water and the substrate will be AS.

Tonina will grow better/faster with more light, but it's not a cut and dry thing, IME, S belem can handle moderate light without issue.

  3. I'm okay with slow growth. Thanks very much.
