Hi all,
I am after a needle valve with a vernier style handle. I have emailed Bill at ideal but it seems he is reluctant to ship me one to the UK
Does anybody have a spare lying around that they would like to part with?
Cheers
Geoff

He'd have to fill out the customs forms, it's a PITA.
Are you sure the fittings will match with the UK gas regulator and tanks?
They are 1/8" inch FPT.
Yeah he is happy to sell me 10pc, but not one.
Needle valves are hard to get in the uk. Im sure there are british companies that make them, but have not been wildy tested like in the US.
I can get a Swagelok as they have a UK devision, but they want £100
As for fitting, thread sizes etc thats not a problem.
A lot of the branded CO2 tanks and regs in the uk are based on US fittings like the CGA320 (paintball tank)
I might have an extra Ideal, but it'll run you 85$ then ship cost.
Hi Tom,
Thanks that was kind of you to offer, and at cost as well!
I have purchased a HOKE Micromite 1600 Series, only because they are easy to get in the UK and work out at about £50.
Not sure if they are any good but the swagelok ones are double the price!
Cheers
Geoff
I have some nice ones if your unsatisfied with the hoke. They come with the vernier handle.
Swagelok SS-22RS4.....$60
Swagelok SS-SS2-D.....$125
Swagelok SS-2MGD......$100
Thanks Guys!
I will keep you posted![]()
Hi! Sorry to hijack the thread but does the SS-22RS4 come with 1/8 threading? Doesn't matter if male or female... if it's still available that is![]()
Double pattern is too confusing for me.

Tony

Hi again.
The SS-21RF2 doesn't come with a vernier handle does it? Couldn't find much info about this valve. Is it strait or angled? How does it compare to Ideal or to the SS-4BK TSW? For how much are you ready to let it go? Sorry for all those question
Regards
Tony
