Thread: Dosage for Estimative index on a 29 gallons (110liters) - Easy Life fertisation

  1. Dosage for Estimative index on a 29 gallons (110liters) - Easy Life fertisation

    Hello,

I'm a beginner, I have an aquarium of 110l (that's 29 gallons) planted and I intend to use the Easy Life fertilization system.

I have used the tool http://calc.petalphile.com/ for getting my values for estimative index with 30% water change on a daily basis and Sunday 50% for reset.

Need someone to confirm me that my calculations are correct.

    Easy Life Fosfo - 3 times / week - 11ml
    Easy Life Nitro - 3 times / week - 5 ml
Easy Life Profito - 3 times / week - 41ml (isn't this kind of a lot? I'm also using JBL Ferrotabs burried in the substrate for the plants that needs Fe supplements). So I'm thinking on reducing a bit the dose of Profito as I don't think it's too good to have a lot of Fe in the water (might get algae problems).

    I'm aiming for at least 20ppm NO3 & K, 2ppm PO4.

I have attached a pic with the current layout so you have an idea about how planted it is / type of plants, etc.

    Thanks!

    I would just do 2x a week 50%, not 30% daily.

Then just dose after the water change only 2x a week, that should be fine.

If you are concerned about cost, that is more an issue, then DIY ferts will be 1000X or more....cheaper.

  3. Thank you for your reply! I'll do that.
