Been looking for a well-priced PAR meter but so far nothing :(
So it can indicate a CO2 bottle running empty?
Yeah, a comparison with PAR readings would be great. Anyone up for a small test? :D
So the bps is still the same, it's only the bubbles that get slowed down?
Thanks!
It's about 1/8 or 1/4 of the EI. No soil, just plain sand :)
Hi guys
Here's a (unclear) video of the non CO2 tank I set up for my father. EI dosing, water changes every 3 months and pruning once a month. Most beautiful Crypts I've ever had in this aquarium!...
Holy crap, that Concoa regulator looks AWESOME and the price is great too. I assume this was a second hand regulator?
I'd love to have one like that but overseas shipping would be a pain.
By the...
Today I found out that I was accidentally dosing 10x EI on my nano (in start-up). Guess what: no algae whatsoever :D
Too bad some people still refuse to believe that it does not cause the algae.
Hi Yo-han, that's very interesting what you mention there. I hadn't thought about that!
@Dutchy: thanks
@Gilles: maybe this is also related to the type of aquarium? Generally they have very high lighting, a lot of plants and very little to no flow (I think). This leads to high demand...
Well, I've instructed him how to dose it on his tank. I can only trust him on his dosing routine to be honest ... If he's been dosing as I said, NO3 shouldn't be the problem.
He's a shop owner and...
Here's a picture of the algae: http://i49.tinypic.com/radc2e.jpg
I'm not sure but this looks like BGA? Or is it brown algae? The structure resembles BGA, but not the colour.
BGA does make...
Hi guys
Someone I know from my blog has been testing the Estimative Index (dry ferts) and reporting algae since the start of this project.
I know that:
1) There's no correlation between...
Hi S&KGray
How much did you pay for the Linde? Might be interesting for me to save on shipping cots + adapters.
*edit* I found this ugly bastard on a German webshop, also dual stage:...
HI Anthony
I want to use the CGA stem but the DIN nut. Any idea if this is possible?
Hi
We use G1/8 etc over here but this shouldn't be a problem if everything is assembled in the US as it will only have US parts.
The only problem is the stem and nut. I do have a DIN 477 nut but...
Anyone willing to help me out with a dual stage reg?
Here's my question from the sales subforum:
Hi guys
I'm looking for a low-cost but reliable dual stage regulator.
I don't care how...
Hi guys
I'm looking for a low-cost but reliable dual stage regulator.
I don't care how it looks and if it's old and rusty, it only needs to be reliable. I'm interested in a complete setup so...
I just had a look at the technical parts. Do you use a dual stage regulator on the system that is not controlled?
Excellent aquarium, Dutchy. Mind me sharing this on my Facebook page?
Do you have a list of technical specs for this tank? Like NO3, PO4, CO2, water circulation, lighting, ... this could be a good...
Anyone any advice on that?

This one is interesting. Is it possible to remove the stem...
I'd love to get one of these babies, to bad the shipping costs to Belgium are so frikking expensive ... that alone almost doubles the cost.
Tom, could you elaborate on the KH part? What were the issues and why?
