That looks very nice. It's easier to create a nice scape if you can find the resources. :) I hope to see a nice thread about the development.

Staghorn and diatoms are often seen in an uncycled tank, caused by high NH4 and SiO3 levels. Frequent waterchanges could help here, but anyway they should disappear when the tank is cycled. Buy some...
De andere factor is CO2. Dat kan te maken hebben met onvoldoende CO2 of wisselende CO2 gehaltes door onvoldoende capaciteit van de CO2 installatie.
Ik heb zelf echter het meeste succes gehad met...
Hi Maxwell from New York, or should I say PatFox from India....
Ah, ok, well you will find out as soon as you get algae ;) ....CO2 is always the first limit.
You want to test how much light plants can take? Well, they can take sunlight and you can never reproduce that much light. The question is: How much CO2 can you provide?
I use less Watts than you on a 180 gallon (702 liters) aquarium. But anyway, I agree with Yohan that 3000 and 4000K lights look too yellow.
Personally I like to use 6500K bulbs for viewing, with...
I think the peroxide dose is quite high. never used more than 1 ml per gallon. That was never a problem with L. aromatica, but twice as high might do some damage.
If not, these kind of problems...
Hi,
Je andere topics zijn hier samengevoegd, zo blijft alles van jouw bak onder 1 topic.
On my tank it's connected to a 450 gph filter.
You can not get CO2 high enough to harm plants. Most of the plants we use can also live emersed. The atmosferic CO2 is 350 ppm.
Basically 40 to 50 ppm should be enough. The problem is that with...
If nothing changed, then why is the glosso growing upwards now? just two things I can think of: Light and CO2.
The way to trim is ok. I usually let it grow thicker, but this should not matter....
Didn't the trim accidentally coincide with a lower CO2 level? And you got algae because of that? Also the glosso growing straight up now is a CO2 warning.
So to me everything points to a CO2 ...
Ik denk dat het "neerslag" is van een zeker element, maar welke? geen idee.
About the BBA / turnover rate....I'm not sure. I don't think it has to do with pure ppm's, because it will even grow on the CO2 outflow pipe. On wood, it will mostly grow on the point where the flow...
Wat is hetgeen dat je ruiten steeds viezer maakt?
De "witte haartjes" heb ik bij mij ook gezien, maar ik heb geen idee wat het is.
Wat voor sporenelementen gebruik je? Profito?
