Hey everyone been a while since I have been on here

I am out in San Fran for a week and was wondering aside from AFA what else is out here for plant nerds... Are there any SFBAA

I left it in a couple tanks for months, trimmed whenever it got over 1.5" tall, it does not grow horizontal under very high light or high CO2, not even a little, grows just like a stem plant.

the white rock in the back is only temp, just weight down some wood, this is tank with all equipment, all fits nice but you see the powerhead for the CO2 a little too much

need to finish planting...

didnt find much good info other than I should mineralize them, from what I understand of it, you keep it in water for 2-3 weeks, changing some of the water every couple of days, then let it dry in...

you can see the black on sitting there, there are not many of the ones I like and they are a little hard to find.... the rest are regular river rocks

it takes alotta looking to find the gems in this tank lol... but here is my spot

tank will be all ferns crypts anubias and moss, 130 watts of coralife PC, doubt it throws out much PAR tho as coralife are cheap lights with poor reflectors

rotala margenta, I believe. There are a couple stems of amania as it was listed at the LFS on the left behind the stargrass as well.

rocks are from a small place called bloom beach around here....

he does state within the original post containing this recipe something about mixing those 2 instead of GH if you have already hard water/lots of calcium.... So I am assuming your assumtion is...

Tom, did you get the PM for the Staro Repens? sent a couple msgs and havent heard anything back on them

plant I took from a lake in NE Pennsylvania.....

slow grower, each leaf would come out and then angle down at a point near the crown towards the substrate... lost it last year after not being...
