By brackish do you mean anything with an SG > 1.000 ? For example, my figure 8 tank is at 1.004 and is filled with java fern. Or is the focus on true macroalgae such as halimeda ?

Generally over 1.005
Most FW macrophtyes are fine at less than this.

Marine Plants -

I have never done a Marine or Salt Water Tank.
But if I can grow plants in it, I would like to try.
Do you have a link or an attachment for trying a Nano (10 Gallons or less) for a first time doing this?
Would Seachem's Live Bearer Salt be the best or safest way to achive this?
Or are there other ways?
Thank you ahead of time for your help with this.
