Is there any good sources for driftwood for fish tanks locally? Or any where it can be collected ?

Yes, most areas have places not too far away where nice wood pieces can be found for use in an aquarium. Forests generally have dead branches or dead trees that can be "harvested". Rivers and creeks often have loose wood that has floated downstream. Lakes can have dead trees and shrubs below the high water mark. Dry areas may have manzanita bushes/trees with dead limbs. Etc.
