More than a year ago you posted to APD about removing the top rim of a
tank, replete with photos. You have these pics and article lying around somewhere still? A friend gave me a couple of 10 gallons I'd like to try this on. Thanks. Rilly like those AZOO nesting tanks, but looks like I'd have to move to CAL to get them

They are not Azoo tanks.
I have the pics, I suppose I can put them up and explain it.
Mainly using a plastic scraper to remove and loosen as much as you can, then use a car jack to pop the corner's off.

Not sure about 10's they are very thin glass.
20's are okay.

Yes, just looked at it. I like the color scheme (more importantly, my wife really likes it and is a nice departure from the black hood, black trim that I have
all over the house. And this house has white ceiling, white walls which I'm going to change this spring. What kind of paint did you use, BTW. LMK when you are sending these tanks to the right coast(?)

Well, the white colors have always seemed more clean and modern to me.
I do not like a dark room. I like to look into a tank system that appears not to have limits as to where the water and the room start or end. I want that line blurred.

I started down this path many years ago.
Still on it and my home has very dramatic plans for a display that involves terrestrial gardens, cubism and multiple stair case tanks linked together around a central area in the middle of the home with a large skylight.

Modern yet natural.
