75 Gallon Non CO2 Set Up -

I am starting another tank. This time I have 4 bags of Flourite on hand. I was going to add 4 bags of Onyx sand to the Flourite with peat, Leonardite and mulm on the bottom. Is the Flourite/Onyx sand mix 50/50 OK?

 dolfan,i just set up a 37 gal tank with leonardite and onyx sand.my first experiance with both products.i've found that the sand has to be rinsed very good.flourite not so bad,no problem with leonardite. that is a good quanity for a 75 gal tank. you can slope nicely from back to front.you will not regret useing that much substrate. good luck! regards,cornhusker |
