I found out recently that Rotala verticillaris does not like it either. A week after starting a bit of Excel dosing (5ml a day in a 72 gal tank) and 6-8 beautiful stems of this literally melted from mid-stem on up. I think they were right in the flow of my Koralia 2 and I was dumping the capful of Excel right in the flow of the Koralia.

I have had trouble with vals. Seachem states on their web site that anacharis does not do well with excel.

When I dose excel I always dilute it in a glass of water and spread it aroround the tank.

well, in my opinion blyxa japonica does well with excel. it is another case when you spray it directly on leaves..... then every plant dies....

greets,

yme
