I have HC from last three months Im growing it submersed and has formed a good carpet,I change water every three days 50%.But recently noticed old leaves getting pale in colour and transparent and small holes brown in colour need help on this will be greatfull.Any specific reasons.fertilizing every alternat day and when water changes.

Please give some tank and dosing specs.

Are you using c02? How do you inject/diffuse it?

Note that as plant bio-mass INCREASES so does the need for c02 and other nutrients.

Have you upped these dosages to correspond with the new growth?

If not, I would say they are nutrient limited.

Thank you for the reply Im using DIY co2 injected with diffusior.Using localy made fertilizer which i dose 10ml every day and 20ml when 50% water change My tank size is 18in 10in 10in have 15*2 PL lamps for 10 hour daily.
And no fishes.

what is in the 10ml? What type of ferts are they? What conectrations of each NPK type? Are you adding any micro nutrients?

Sounds like it needs trimmed and the CO2 might be low, DIY O2 is often a dead give away if something goes wrong.
