Regenerating Seachem Purigen - 07-11-2008, 02:37 AM

How do you regenerate Purigen?

1. Soak in plain old bleach for 1 day
2. Soak in Seachem Prime / Water for 1 day
3. Do you soak in some sort of pH neutralizer as the instructions say?

I have done the bleach/Prime soak with Purigen and can say that it worked fairly well. My recharged Purigen was not as bright as new Purigen after the process but it still performed fairly well. I didn't use Neutral Regulator as Seachem recommends. In any case, I still love the stuff and will continue to use it in my canisters.
