What are some of the places you'd recommend for mail order plants? Mainly for beginner-intermediate plants. I'm looking into setting up my second planted tank and the local stores are pretty bad here. I'm in Canada.

thanks for the info. I haven't set up a planted tank for over a year and when I did it cost a hella lot to stock my 120g tank. i sent them e-mails for details on shipping to canada.

AquariumPlants.com ships to Canada, from within Canada. I have no experience with them however. But shipping will likely be cheaper.

Also check out Charley (aka "Lowcoaster"). He has listings on AquaBid.com under the username "lowcoaster" as well. He also has semi-regular emailings of upcoming orders and takes them as well. He's in NYC, I think, so if you're in the NE area it's quite convenient.

I'd suggest you try somewhere other than AAG.

Just purchased a big lot of plants from SweetAquatics@fuse.net they are in OH. I do not know about shipping to Canada but they were very accomadating and price
and service was great. Send em to Attn: Mary ref. scrupie in Fl. If she could make me happy she can make anyone satisfied.
