I just got a 250W and 150W MH pendants from fishneedit on eBay, and chose the 6700K bulbs he had available.

I have seen that the various ADA bulbs, and some mentioned in various threads here are in the ~8000 K region. After some searching, the only bulbs I can find are the ADA ones, which are expensive as per other ADA products.

Are there other sources for ~8000 K bulbs?

Also, is there much difference in quality between the various manufacturers of bulbs?
