24w PL: is intensity sufficient for 16' tall tank? - 10-16-2007, 10:11 PM

I already have 110w lights on a 3ft tank (16in height). I want to put additional lights on some area. Space is limited and only a 24PL could fit (12in). Would it help or just a waste of money? Thanks.

Maybe a little, it's not much relative to the other light.
You can try bending the reflectors out a bit to get a decent light spread.
