As the title says .. how many wpg needed to grow an HC foreground?

Also does this plant require CO2 and ferts?

I used a shop light over a 55 gallon to grow it emergent.
I cannot think of a reason why it would not grow well with water if you added CO2 or Excel.

It's not light limited, typically it's CO2 limited.

Thanks Tom, I intend to keep it in a shrimp tank though which is going to be as much low tech and low maintenance as possible.
