Haha, Excel and Elodea?

Excel kills Eldoea(but not most other species, just that group/family and few others, eg Vals).

That is why that will not grow well.

Try Milfoil instead.

Here is the best way: KH Standards, buy it already made from Bill. Making your own and doing it accurately, isn't at all easy.

well, no more excel and the elodea growing, thanks Tom, of course i have to ask another question, am looking for a small powerhead to improve water circulation, i bought 2 rio 50, but they are very loud, can anyone recomend a small powerhead other than the Rio?

hi, i just added some activated carbon to my filter, will that caue any problem with my EI ? i did that bc i noteced some scum on the water surface and the water smelled some what?

ok, here is a picture of my tank after some trimming 2 weeks ago, the elodea seem to be doing well after stoping the excel, the hair grass not doing well, i planted that 2 weeks ago, does anyone know if it need any special fert, lighting,...etc .
