Solution Concentration - 07-27-2007, 07:37 AM

Hey guys,

I have the following from Greg Watson "Aquarium Fertilizer.com":

Iron Chelate 10%
Plantex CSM+B (Haven't started using this yet...)

What is the correct way to make stock solutions from these?

Also, how should I dose them in a 90G fully planted w/ pressurized CO2 & quad T5?

Regards!

There's an old iscussion going back 12 years ago on the Krib in PMDD, add the CMS(2 table spoons) and about 1 teaspoon of the 10% Fe to 1 liter.

Dose like TMG/SeaChem from there.

so I use both of them together in the 1L then ... ?

Also,

I would dose the trace as suggested in EI. Would that work well?

Yes both, 1 table spoon of each.
Yes, like the article suggest and tailor to suit.

I use TMG namely and my own version which is not due for release until I've tested it long enough to know it works well and can make more comments.

I couldn't find the article so thank you for your response...

however ...

you just said tablespoon of each but mention teaspoon in your first post. I made 500ml yesterday this way:

1 tablespoon CMS
0.5 teaspoon Iron 10%

That works right?

Is there anyway you can link me to the article?

Thank you!

That's right and the link is simply The Krib (Aquaria and Tropical Fish)
