Egeria Najas Vs. Excel? - 04-12-2007, 06:37 AM

Will Excel kill Egeria Najas? I know it will kill Val Spiralis. Any other plants that excel is known to kill?

I suspect that it killed some Blyxa japonica and Cyperus helferi I had, but I can't say for sure.

It will kill everything if you add enough.

Egeria, Lagarosiphon, Hydrillia etc are more susceptible than most plants.

Egeria Densa and Vallisneria Spiralis are very susceptible to Excel, you don't even need to add more than recomended.

Thanks for the replies. I tried looking for some kind of list of plants that were sensitive but couldn't find one. I know my val spiralis do not like it one bit but all my other plants seem to like the addition. I guess Ill try some of the egeria najas in the tank and see what happens.
