Haha, let's see if you can ID this one.
The river has a GH of 26 degrees, KH of 19.
Found in what most would call a "desert".

It looks like an Ammannia sp. to me, though i don't know which one.... a so called "soft water plant"

Oh this weed grows in some of the hardest water I know of..........Mono lake would be the the next step...........pH is about 9.5 here.This plant just grows and grows.

But it's not an Ammannia, not even close.

haha, just a guess, the growth pattern looks similar. I have no clue then, but that water is like liquid rock.... is it something that is common in the hobby? or one of those less seen plants?

It looks like a rotala macandra, but I doubt that it is.

Hmmm .... Ludwigia inclinata? The tops look kind of like Rotala macrandra, but the leaves seem too long.

It's more weedy than any of those plants: here's the sword plant, E berteroi in it's only know natural range:
These two plants grow side by side.
