Hi,
this morning, I have moved a bunch of fissiden fonteanus I got last summer. Hidden in it, I have found a strange moss that was growing. I have never seen that kind of plant and maybe someone here can help me find it's ID

unfortunatly I only have a small steam of it. here is some picture:

It's actually a liverwort near as I can tell from the image.
I've found it in several spots, a lot in Florida, it's very small, maybe 2-3mm wide?

yeah it's about 3 to 4 ml wide. I ordered the fissiden from singapour so I gess that plants comes from there.

Keep it cool and not in intense light. It's all over the Ichetucknee river, most mistake it as a moss.


The lobes are not truly dissected. They re attached to each other by the thallus, as well as by the "stem".
