Woops, I hacked the link. It's fixed now.

These are already available and have been for some time.
They are designed for even flow and high flow rates. Rather than high flow from a small output tube, they use a 2 to 4" tube diameter.

Might be a bit more than what we need I would think.

It's only for hardcore extreme micro bubblers!

There have been power heads a little similar to these, but what's different is that the motor is on the outside of the tank and the propeller is on the inside and the two are held together with magnets. I think if they made a smaller model, or maybe just slower, it might work well for planted tanks.

Very cool, I would buy a small version.
