  • When you use @(name) feature?

    Jason What happens when someone uses this tag? What's the purpose? I'm assuming it's a bit like twitter, but just wondering.

    Kyalgae its like quoting someone I think but without having to have the huge text box and such. Useful is you recommend someone to this page like this: Jason hey check this out

      Kyalgae As DutchMuch said it also alerts you when your name has been mentioned bringing your attention to that particular post.

        P.s It's an very old method that was used in the old irc chat rooms long before Twitter was around.

          I didn't know that was a feature from yesteryear. I never really participated in IRC rooms, internet took forever to come around where I lived. All we ever did was MSN messenger as I grew up. Neat! Thanks.
