Just picked up a Co2 settup- 10lb tank, regulator with needle valve. Made the bubble counter, but tried an experiment.
My tank is a red sea 34g cube. The red sea is a plug and play setup for reefs. I converted my tank to fresh (removed skimmer and partitioned the chambers for floss, foam blocks, chemi and bio.

I simply fed the Co2 output line to the pump chamber and let the Co2 bubble get sucked into the pump to be crushed by the impeller. The output is a split into the tank and you can hear and see a fine mist ejected 1 time every 1.5 seconds. Very fine mist that looks to be fully circulating around the tank.

I have to get up on testing and keeping a ph/gh/kh balance

My lights are twin compac's 110 watts 50% actinic (have not switched them over because I don't know what to buy.
Also have three bushy plecos (should I get rid of some or all (don't want them eating the plants.

Looking forward to the education
