So my light bulbs came in today. and the tank is gay pink. The pink (aqua medic plant grows) are very dominating over 2 10k! one hamilton and one coralife. Oh well i'll trade it for growth and reds, if it don't work out then i'll go to a 6500k and 10000k combo i guess.
So the spectrum of red white and blue are covered

These are beginning pictures, i want intense reds

                    • So I got up to 120ppm Nitrate and 13.5ppm Phosphate target ranged doses
and ei traces and on and off double traces
Urea goes in every so often .4ppm min, .8ppm max
As well add a pinch of ferrous, i noticed with the ferrous little strings of algae hairlike, just here and there, could be they were imported from the other tank, which actually they were, i remember
so I'lll see if here and there goes away
I noticed plants started whitening at that level of macro dosing, no bueno
predict a good range to be (10ppm-60/80ppm) above and i see ill effects
This is exactly where i want to be and its feeding my own ego
                      Things are almost flawless
Everything is set on timers and a simple water change per week and dose alternatively macros/micros, everything is spectacular
Next is trying to scape after i propagate enough(this i will never get around to) always selling
So seems a kush spot, i'm thinking it'll last too

                        • Now i can actually say I inherited this type algae. I inherited through a stem of pantanal and strands spread, one on mex red, 3 on belem, very hard to spot, you have to look from a below angel to spot these thin strands, i don't know what it is but can say i don't want this type bitch, looks very hard to get rid of. The one on the pantanal went away and the one on the mex red went away, the two belems on the left side have a strand each, and one belem on the right side. I may have missed, but its not much at all. I'm very hoping the belems ones will go away like the other two. Usually in algae woes it comes on really rapid or fast depending on the level of the growers. This is not spreading it seems, i think the 3 from the belem will go away, but the other two plants are faster growers. Both are weeds, pantanal more than the mex red.

                          • 20 minutes into co2 injection and my ph is at a 4.9, .6 drop in 20 minutes....I can't even measure my co2 though....The chart doesn't go that low, so whats UP???

Someone can fill in those numbers of the lower pH's?

Otherwise it was pointless buying these test kits.

My kh is 0-1, I put one drop says blue to yellow, it turns light yellow right away, never see any blue
My gh is 0-1, I put one drop says orange to green, it turns light green right away, never see any orange...

Someone can help me out figure my numbers? ppm
