EI + ADA AS in new 38 Gallon Aquarium - 06-19-2008, 11:54 PM

This is my Red Ark pencil fish tank.
I plan on 25 fish, 25 Cory pandas, 10-15 amano shrimps.
I have the fish and the all the fish, but have not put the cories in yet.

This is not scaped, just some groups of plants, I will have a more open feel and scape it a bit later, for now, it's just a grow out tank, a bit dutch I guess.

This is just a how it looks point and shoot pic. No big production.
Still, the tank looks as nice in terms of health as any I've seen any any ADA photo or examples and my plants are larger and faster growing than those grown by ADA purist.

L cuba, the spiral twisty leaf sword, Tonia, Dwarf hygro, R wallichii, etc all grow pretty fast and are larger.

Regards,
Tom Barr

very nice, I just changed over to EI dosing this week and I swear I noticed a difference in 2 days. More pearls and healthy looking plants.

With this set up you have, is your CO2 plumed into your filter? I've been using an internal reactor by ReaSea and it works well; however, it is unsightly and my glass diffuser just does not give me enough dissoved CO2. What is best, a quality diffuser, reactor, or using my canister filter as a reactor.

Thanks,

Jeremy

hey Tom is that a MH light above the tank? Also great looking tank, scaped or not it looks very nice. My wife would die if our spiral twisty leaf sword looked like yours.

To answer your Q jeremy1 i would check out the co2 and fertalization portion of the forum. IMO the inline reactor is ideal if your can filter can take it. I see near 100% dissolution of co2 into the water.
