This took me a while to find out so I thought I'd suggest updating the sticky threads with the following information where gregwatson.com is linked to for buying dry ferts.

Who knows - it is probably staring me in the face somewhere but between those links and Tom's signature I couldn't really see why people would direct me to a site about entrepreneurship.

I don't sell ferts anylonger ... Alan now has AquariumFertilizer.com ...

But I am still actively involved with this site - thus in the upper right hand corner of my personal site there is a link there to the Barr Report website...

I am also actively involved behind the scenes with about a dozen different aquarium websites, clubs, and organizations - for example, the Greg Watson's Guide To Dosing Strategies so Aquatic Plant News also has a link in the upper right hand corner of my website.

I do the Barr Report with the Guru of all Guru's Tom Barr ... he is the absolute greatest! But I also own at last count something like 24 other aquarium and aquatic plant sites. And I privately sponsor quite a few others.


<grin> ... I am a pretty private person and if you watch the upcoming release of the Wizard of Oz ... I prefer to be the man behind the curtain so to speak <grin>. I think that Tom includes my a link to my site because he tries to give me more credit than perhaps I deserve at times and definately more than what I usually try to seek ...

I am thankful that Tom includes that link in his signature ... and please allow me to express my appologies to you for any confusion that it caused ...

Agreed. I've been in saltwater for the last four years and this site alone and Tom's prolific posting has brought a voice of reason to the mountain of information and opinions. Who new excess nutrients didn't cause algae - but rather the lack of nutrients and excess of ammonia. I"m setting up my 180g with a sump and the information here has proved invaluable.
