Well , our temps tend to be stable, most aquatic systems do, but shallow placid weed choked ponds might not.
At higher temps, say with discus etc, the plants also grow much faster.........making sure they took this factor into account via control would be required.
However, most folks do not think about temp metabolism rate increases, lower CO2 etc at higher temps, 2x say at 72 F vs 86F.
Temp can slow things down as well if the fish can handle lower temps.
