Hi,

I am using Aquasoil Amazonia II and ti has made my water very acidic and soft. My readings without CO2 addition are Ph= 6.0-6.2. Alkalinity is 1 degree dkh.
This is a discus tank (210 gallons) with amazon swords and 3 150 MH DE HQI for lighting. I really would like not to buffer the water due to too much variability in water conditions. Any suggestions?

I don't think you have a problem with the low pH and KH. You can do water changes every few days to limit the effect, but it doesn't seem to be enough to be harmful to the fish or plants.
