Question Guide to fertilizer/chemical names - 12-13-2007, 10:39 PM

Is there a guide somewhere that I can use as a quick cheat sheet when reading/dosing various ferts? My mind tends to think in terms of NAMES of the ferts, such as Potassium Nitrate, for example.

Yet everything I read uses the correct chemical designation in abbreviated form, such as "K2SO4", or "NO3" and so on...

Where can I get a list of what is what, and ooooo, maybe even what what is for?!

THANKS!
