G'DAY MATE,
It's a small world ay! Actually I wouldn't mind the shipping, it"s customs that worrys me, I would be labled as a terriost and have the Federal Police staking out my house, and seize both mine and the wife's computers!!!!!!!

So I'll ask one more question and STOP getting off the subject . Do I, or can I mix CaCO4, MgSO4 & K2SO4 in a 3:3:1 ratio all together in water and stir counter clockwise??????

And I must say GREAT thread here, I'm not up on my acroynms, I missed school that day But now I have them in a tidy pdf. file so it only take a second to look it up

There's an oxymoron if there ever was one ! LOL. You Poor B@$t@rds ! D@mn good thing OZ Agriculture is self sustaining or you'd have starved to death by now ! You're probably right ? Such dangerous chemicals would likely evoke a cavity search fer sure ! LOL.

I would still suggest contacting Greg Watson personally to see what you can work out in light of your circumstances.

It seems one of the most difficult things for folks to warm up to around here is That neither Tom nor Greg got into this for the money, and both are as Generous as they are Knowledgeable ! The greater point of this website is that they genuinely encourage folks to experiment, and find things out for themselves, and that philosophy extends into resources, and materials. I don't honestly recall the exact ratio off hand, But I'm certain one of them does. With Apology, Prof M

A Newbie I am,..... coming back to planted aquariums after a hiatus of many many years. I have relocated to Singapore a few years ago just decided to restart activity in planted aquarium(s) again.............one thing which foxes me is "EI". Its been referred to (Tom Barr's EI...) a number of times in aquaquotient (I'm a new member there...)

Searched the acronyms on your pages, plant geek etc...cant seem to figure it out....I must be a retard...

EI stands for Estimative Index, a method of dosing fertilizers.

Full description here: The Estimative Index of Dosing, or No Need for Test Kits

Lite version here: EI light: for those less techy folks

Go to the Aquarium Wiki Encyclopaedia at Main Page - The Aquarium Wiki
You just type the technical terms or acronym and get a good explanation.

You can even add this site to your search engine in IE7 and Firefox so its always just there when you need it! Very handy I've found when reading Aquarium Forums.
Click here to see how to do it

So EI - The Aquarium Wiki is the Estimated Index
