a very interesting tid bit: look at the increases in growth rates with the change in temperature from 18.5 to 24 C, just 5.5 C difference but a massive change in the growth rates.

Hot tanks grow faster, this means they need more CO2 and nutrients.
A lot more.

This effect might play a larger role in winter for folks that do not use heaters, folks that drive their temps up very high, cannot control temps in the summer (It gets 45 C here and no air conditioner!) and other related issues.

Keeping the tank cool can slow growth which down regulates uptake demand for nutrients and CO2.
