This is my nano scape I originally intended to take to my office, but I have enjoyed it and thought a tank half this size would be better suited for my office. This one is currently setup in our dining room. Please comment and let me know what you think.

I am not the best photographer, and my point and shoot camera is not very cooperative. SO, these pictures do not quite do it justice.

This is my reference picture which I used to make this scape. I took it while hiking up to Mystic Lake in Montana. I have several nice pictures from the trip.

This is the hardscape prior to planting. I went through about 3 different setups before finding my reference picture and getting something I with with which I was happy.

Tank Specs:

Pressurized CO2: GLA superior regulator, archaea super diffuser, atomic inline bubble counter, 1-2 bps

ADA aquasoil over lava rock with Yamaya stones from AFA.

Lighting: 2X Archaea 30cm LED's

Filtration: Eheim 2211

Ferts: supposed to be EI dosing, but I've done a poor job following the routine with this tank. I let the fact it was mostly mosses allow me to slack. This might be the cause of my thread algae in here. I plan to stick to the dosing plan and cut the lighting from 10 hrs. to 8 hrs.

Fauna: 8 emerald dwarf rasboras, 3 pygmy cories, 10 or so Blue Pearl Shrimp, 5 OEBT's

Flora: mini pelia, mini rose moss, fissidens fontanus, HM, anubias nana petite, willow moss, hydrocotyle sibthurpioides, unknown green ground cover moss, pelia, unknown green stem, downoi (I'm considering changing it out for staurogyne repens)

Thanks for looking!

Hey,

I could swear I posted on this yesterday....

Anyhoo, I love it. It looks great and gives a nice sense of perspective...

Sweet!

Very nice! I love the back ground on the wall. Nice depth to it as well.

You have managed to hit a very natural feeling with this hardscape. It looks somewhat real and well balanced. I hope it will get even better after the plants develop.

Thank you for the comments!

I'm considering adding some staurogyne repens in some foreground areas, the mosses seems to jumble together. You can't see the contrast well in the picture. Much better in person with the varied textures. I think some more leafy plants may help.

My camera takes poor tank pictures...it took the reference picture, but can't handle the tank well. Not sure why.

I have received mix reviews on the moss wall. In the future I may try a grouping of stems in the background, but for now I like it.
